It’s not a pre-determined point in life, these moments of essential change. I would propose that they occur when life gets too settled, too boring, or too content with the status quo. Personally, I believe that these moments, where change is the only thing on a person’s mind, are placed there purposefully, and shouldn’t be disregarded.Continue reading “So….now what?”

An atheist, a preacher, and a bible class.
It’s been almost a year since I met my friends John and Marquis, almost exactly a year. As I think about where this 365 days has taken me, I have to be honest with myself and admit how much these two people and the consequential events that occurred due to my meeting them have sincerely altered my life andContinue reading “An atheist, a preacher, and a bible class.”
We Are The World 25 For Haiti
Okay, somehow I’m just now watching it. I’ve heard so many negative things I thought I shouldn’t waste my time. Granted, I didn’t know most of the people singing and I probably prefer the original (but don’t we always?), but why was everything I heard about this so cynical? I’ve heard arguments about it being not asContinue reading “We Are The World 25 For Haiti”
A Quick Plug
If you ever break your IPhone glass, like I did within 48 hours of having it, you should really check out and use IPhone 3G Screen Repair. They are really fast and polite too. I had a question, so I emailed them and got a response back 20 minutes later, on a Saturday! A QuickContinue reading “A Quick Plug”
Maturing at a Train’s pace.
Rarely does a band and a fan mature together, typically they grow apart, especially if a band’s success lasts more than a decade. Music taste changes in both parties. One of my favorite non-boy bands (yes, I was that girl) in high school was Train. A stark difference between Train and the rest of myContinue reading “Maturing at a Train’s pace.”
A Believing, but Jaded Christian.
I choose to label myself as Christian, not just because I was raised that way or because it’s the most simple label to apply to yourself in Bible belt (which it absolutely is), but because I really think that Christ has a lot to offer when it comes to how a person should live theirContinue reading “A Believing, but Jaded Christian.”

It’s called Love In Stereo (www.loveinstereo.com). We’re hoping it will be a really cool way for everyone to comeContinue reading
A Year of Thankfulness. Pt. 1
One resolution I made this year was to be thankful for something everyday. I made this conscious choice, because I used to be very appreciative but somehow along the way I became jaded and bitter. I really noticed this tragic personality change around Thanksgiving, when everyone was celebrating and expressing their thankfulness, and all IContinue reading “A Year of Thankfulness. Pt. 1”
Lonely and alone are not the same, most of the time.
Being alone used to be my favorite time, it allowed me time to reflect and process conversations, life, and interactions. Being an intensely introverted person I not only like this, I need it. Without it, I loose my sense of self and become enable to enjoy things. I’m slow to change. I’m not a big fan of itContinue reading “Lonely and alone are not the same, most of the time.”
I’m glad I have talented friends.
