Okay, somehow I’m just now watching it. I’ve heard so many negative things I thought I shouldn’t waste my time. Granted, I didn’t know most of the people singing and I probably prefer the original (but don’t we always?), but why was everything I heard about this so cynical? I’ve heard arguments about it being not as good or not as effective. Well, the first one is opinion and the second is probably impacted by all the negative stuff floating around about it. Maybe you’ve heard better things, but it’s been shrouded in cynicism for me, and I don’t understand why we can’t just be touched by something that is meant to help connect our feelings and emotions with the people that need help.
