The first time I heard this song, I was struck by everything that makes this song what it is. Mostly, though, it struck me as a beautiful parallel to most of my friends lives at this moment. 

My friends and I have dubbed this the year of change. Some people’s lives are in a magnificent place, others not so much. The line about the most beautiful things come from some of the most terrible lies…this is what matters. I have a very high concept of how divinity works in our lives, even through terrible situations…beautiful things have or will come, no doubt. 

Upon listening to the song again, I wasn’t sure why I was SO struck with the song and the depth to which it spoke to me, but I still liked it…and I’m not one to dismiss gut feelings.
