I’m not sure why today is the day that I feel prideful. Or why I have an intense desire to share; generally I’m a fairly private person. But as of today, I have lost 72 pounds since I started being mindful/trying to loose weight, and it is by far the lowest weight I have been at as an adult by quite a bit. It’s been about 14 months since my mindset changed, and about 11 months since my behavior changed. It started with hiking last April, and that motivated me to pursue other outdoors things I have always wanted to do, but wasn’t able to…which naturally lead to weight loss. Granted, 24 of those pounds are due to the slow-carb 4 hour body challenge my friends and I are doing. Which I am loving.
But, I’m pretty proud.
